Physiology I 3

Academic Year 2022/2023 - Teacher: ANTONELLA CACCAMO

Expected Learning Outcomes

To gain a clear understanding of the cellular mechanisms and networks that enable the human body to function. Knowing the integrated functioning of the different organs, apparatus and control systems through which the living organism obtains and maintains homeostasis. Clear understanding of the mechanisms that, when abnormal, turn into pathological dysfunctions. Having participated to Physiology classes, students will achieve knowledge on the mechanismsgoverning the functioning of the various apparatuses of the body, also acquiring notions of anatomical organization and physiopathology.

Course Structure

Lectures. Attendance is strongly recommended

Information for students with disabilities and / or SLD: To guarantee equal opportunities and in compliance with the laws in force, interested students can ask for a personal interview in order to plan any compensatory and / or dispensatory measures, based on the teaching objectives and specifications needs. It is also possible to contact the CInAP contact person (Center for Active and Participatory Integration - Services for Disabilities and / or SLD) of the Department
