Expected Learning Outcomes

  • Knowledge of the theory of communication (verbal, paraverbal, nonverbal communication)

  • Knowledge of the theory of Human Caring and development of related communication skills and abilities;

  • Development of personal skills to apply nursing methodology;

  • Knowledge and use of nursing diagnoses;

  • Introduction of Carpenito's Bifocal method;

  • Development of the basis for application of self-report and counselling;

  • Development of educational-relational skills applied in nursing profession;
