Expected Learning Outcomes

To provide basic skills on organizational behaviour with a focus on the application dimension and managerial implications, with a multidisciplinary approach from a psychological, sociological and economic perspective. The course aims to provide students with the knowledge tools and techniques for the functioning of organizations and the role of people within organizations.

At the end of the course the student acquires advanced knowledge and understanding of the main business and management topics, methods and tools concerning management and organizations.

The student acquires the capacity to apply the strategic approach of the problem solving and decision making process, gaining the key methods and operating tools to manage people, leading human resources into the motivational process, teambuilding, managing conflicts and leadership, communicating effectively.

Course Structure

Frontal lections, applications, seminars, case studies, Project work.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Class attendance is mandatory. Permitted absences must not exceed the percentage of the total number of hours established in the Graduate Course Regulations.
