Chemistry and biochemistry, biology and genetics 1
Module Biology and genetics

Academic Year 2023/2024 - Teacher: ROSALIA BATTAGLIA

Expected Learning Outcomes

The course of Biology and Genetics aims to provide students of the Bachelor's Degree programme in Nursing with an integrated view of the structure and functions of the cell and living organisms with particular attention to the elementary biological units and the basic cellular mechanisms of living organisms, to the organization of genetic information, its transmission and expression in eukaryotic cells.

Course Structure

Frontal lessons.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes concerning previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

Written test

To guarantee equal opportunities and in compliance with current laws, students can request a meeting in order to plan any compensatory and/or dispensatory measure, according to educational goals and specific needs. In this case, it is advisable to contact the CInAP (Centre for Active and Participated Integration - Services for Disabilities and/or SLD) professor of the Department where the Degree Course is included.
