Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding: Knowledge of the physical principles and methods of Diagnostic Imaging techniques and their main clinical applications.

Applying knowledge and understanding: The student must demonstrate familiarity with the terminology and meaning of the various diagnostic imaging techniques he or she may encounter in his or her professional career.

Making judgements: Ability to argue personal interpretations of issues inherent in the study of diagnostic imaging.

Communication skills: Ability to use basic radiological vocabulary. Ability to communicate with specialists using appropriate radiological vocabulary, while simultaneously being able to convey radiological concepts simply and accurately to non-specialists.

Learning skills: Have acquired a body of knowledge useful for further study in the disciplines covered by the degree program. Ability to independently deepen and update one's knowledge, including through the use of specialized literature and appropriate bibliographical resources.

Course Structure

Frontal lessons as scheduled in the calendar.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Basic knowledge of physics, chemistry and anatomy.
