Learning Objectives

  • Otolaryngology

Achievement and acquisition of the theoretical bases and of the applicative knowledge of physiological and pathological swallowing, of the development of language in developmental age and of physiological and pathological phonation.

  • Audiology

Administer useful knowledge for the acquisition of notions useful for the accomplishment of the speech therapy activity in relation to the disturbances due to alterations in the auditory canal.

  • Bioengineering

The student will be introduced to the main approaches and methodologies used within bioengineering. Some mathematical and computational models for the analysis of biological systems will be introduced. The student will learn some mathematical and computational tools for the treatment of these models.

Course Structure

  • Otolaryngology

The course structure will be presented electronically, through audiovisuals and practical participations

  • Audiology

    Frontal lessons

  • Bioengineering

The module includes lectures and tutorials.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
