  • General Surgery

    Th theorical course in General Surgery is designed to acquaint students with the most important diseases in the surgical patients, to learn them the diagnosis with the study of the symptoms and of the hematologic and instrumental diagnostics. This course is addressed to knowledge of the neck pathologies and of the complication of neck surgery to understand when the speech therapy is useful

Detailed Course Content

  • MEDICINA INTERNA

    Anatomy and physiology of the human body, Emergency-urgency, Health emergency and operational centers: extra-hospital phase and intra-hospital phase, First Aid, First evaluation of the injured patient, Chain of survival, Cardio respiratory arrest and CPR, BLS, BLSD, Practical tests with dummy , Traumatology, Physical agents diseases: burns - sunstroke - heat stroke - cold lesions - electrocution injuries - animal bites - drowning, emergency toxicology, Ultrasound in emergencies emergencies

  • General Surgery

    The program requires the student the knowledge of the most important diseases in general surgery

    • Disorders of the neck
    • Inflammatory diseases of the thyroid, hyperthyroidism, benign and malignant neoplasms
    • Parotid and submandibular glands diseases
    • Gastroesophageal reflux, Achalasia; oesophageal and gastric carcinoma.
