Learning Objectives

  • Legal Medicine

    Legal medicine is aimed to the study and application of scientific and medical knowledge to legal problems. It is directed to the acquisition of information significant to the exercise of medical profession in terms of legal and ethical issues, with respect to criminal, civil and social insurance.

  • Health law

    Provide the student with the basics of Italian health law. In particular, the course will focus on relevant legislation for the nursing profession.

    Frontal lessons.

    Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

  • Legal Medicine

    Notes on Penal Law: crime, imputability, causation. Civil capacity (legal capacity and capacity to act, interdiction, disqualification, etc). Health care profession. Professional ethics. Privacy statement. Report or complaint of crime. Nursing Folder. Lawfulness of medical treatment: informed consent. The compulsory treatment. Professional responsibility. Personal lesions. Crime of sexual violence. Abortion. Forensic Toxicology.

  • Health law

    Constitution and right to health
    Organization of the health system (SSN and SSR)
    Responsibility of the nurse in civil and criminal matters
