Detailed Course Content
Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized clinical trials, Cochrane library. Cochrane studies of efficacy and effectiveness in psychiatric, ocular, logopedic, and neurological rehabilitation. Recommendations for and against stroke rehabilitation. Clinical risk, risk management, health risk, safety, clinical audit. Professional and organizational appropriateness. Variations in clinical practice: methods and measures (small area variation analysis, referral bias, case mix). Patient Reported Outcome. Hospital Use Review Protocols (PRUO). Quality in health care, clinical governance. Burnout Syndrome. Project work in rehabilitation
