Expected Learning Outcomes

Basic knowledge of the main topics covered by the discipline. Knowledge of the role that Work and Organizational Psychology plays among other disciplines that deal with work and organizational issues. Knowledge of research methods and the basic epistemology of the discipline. In-depth analysis of some specific topics of the discipline.

Detailed Course Content

The course intends to offer the student the theoretical tools to analyze the processes that develop within work organizations starting from the constituent components of human action, to arrive at the combination of the actions of the agents and the emerging phenomena that they produce. Some special themes will be explored in depth such as deviant behaviour, cooperation and competition, work stress, leadership and also some interdisciplinary aspects of work and organizations in contemporary society.
